Paolo Fabbri (1939-2020) was a leading figure in European semiotics from its very beginnings. His intellectual activity spanned multiple fields: from language to the arts, from communication to philosophy, from sociology to epistemology.
His most recent publications include: Fellinerie (2016), L'efficacia semiotica (2017), Vedere ad arte (2020), Biglietti d'invito (2021, released posthumously edited by Gianfranco Marrone), La svolta semiotica, nuova edizione ampliata (edited by Gianfranco Marrone).
He was director of the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Paris.
